Notes
This recipe is based on the original 1910, "Zazarac," recipe from Jacob "Jack" Grohusko's book Jack's Manual. The recipe was a spin on the original Sazerac, where this version features Bourbon as the base in place of Rye Whiskey or Cognac. It is often times still referred to as a Sazerac today or a Bourbon Sazerac. We recommend preparing this drink with a top shelf bourbon since it is very Bourbon forward on the taste.Learn more on Wikipedia.
