Ingredients
  

  • 3 cup(s) Canned tomatoes
  • 1 cup(s) Water
  • 4 tablespoon(s) Grated onions
  • 1.5 teaspoon(s) Salt
  • 2 teaspoon(s) Sugar
  • 1 cup(s) Scalded milk
  • .66 cup(s) Cooked rice

Instructions
 

  • Over low heat, cook the tomatoes, water, onions, salt and sugar for 30 minutes.
    3 cup(s) Canned tomatoes, 1 cup(s) Water, 4 tablespoon(s) Grated onions, 1.5 teaspoon(s) Salt, 2 teaspoon(s) Sugar
  • Force through a food mill.
    3 cup(s) Canned tomatoes, 1 cup(s) Water, 4 tablespoon(s) Grated onions, 1.5 teaspoon(s) Salt, 2 teaspoon(s) Sugar
  • Stir in the rice and milk.
    1 cup(s) Scalded milk, .66 cup(s) Cooked rice
  • Serve hot

Notes

This is a jewish style tomato soup. Put a twist on your normal tomato soup by mixing in some dairy! It's so such creamy soup.
